• Body & Cover: Cast Iron (ASTM A126 Class B or equivalent).

• Disc: Bronze/Brass or Cast Iron with rubber/EPDM lining, depending on application.

• Seat: Bronze or Renewable seat rings (optional).

• Hinge & Pin: Stainless Steel/Bronze.

• Fasteners: Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel (optional for corrosion resistance).

• Gasket: Compressed fiber or EPDM depending on media compatibility.

Size Range Available

• Standard sizes from 2” to 24” (DN50 to DN600).

• Larger sizes can be provided upon request for specific industrial requirements.

Pressure Rating

• Working Pressure: Up to 150 PSI (10.3 bar) for Class 125.

• Test Pressure: Hydrostatic body test at 300 PSI; seat test at 200 PSI.

• Temperature Range: Up to 200°C (392°F) depending on lining and gasket materials

Cast Steel Swing Check Valve

Design Features

• Design Standard: Typically designed per API 6D or BS EN 1868.

• Flow Direction: One-way flow with automatic backflow prevention.

• Disc Type: Swing type, fully opens with flow and swings shut under backflow.

• Gasket: Spiral Wound Stainless Steel with Graphite or PTFE filler.

• Class 150: Up to 285 PSI @ 100°F (19.6 bar @ 38°C)

• Class 300: Up to 740 PSI @ 100°F (51 bar @ 38°C)

• Hydrostatic Test Pressure:

  • Body: 1.5 × rated pressure.

  • Seat: 1.1 × rated pressure.

• Temperature Range: Up to 425°C (800°F) depending on gasket and seat materials.
